Azul becomes the latest Brazilian airline to leave Chapter 11

Azul Airlines announced on February 20 that the company had exited Chapter 11 proceedings in the United States after nine months of financial and corporate restructuring.

With the announcement, all three of Brazil's major airlines have now completed the same type of post-pandemic financial restructuring — a milestone that market analysts say could herald a new era for the country's aviation industry.
