Santiago Caputo, the “Kremlin wizard” behind Javier Milei

When LGBTQ groups organized a massive rally in Buenos Aires last month to repudiate Javier Milei’s remarks linking “extreme gender ideology” to pedophilia, analysts thought the Argentine president had shot himself in the foot, given the broad support for gay rights in the country.
One man, however, was confident that the conflict would ultimately benefit the president: his top political adviser, Santiago Caputo.
In his words. “It would be a tragedy if this cultural battle led the opposition into unsustainably woke positions or, even worse, caused a splinter from a faction that wants to emphasize ‘LGBTQXYZ’ issues. God forbid,” Caputo said ironically from one of his many burner social media accounts.
