Chinese companies invested USD 6.1 billion in Brazil last year across 52 projects, up 45% from 2024 and the highest level in nearly a decade, according to a new study by the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC). The report says Brazil absorbed 10.9% of Chinese overseas investment last year, becoming Beijing’s top destination.
