EU resumes pre-listing system for Brazilian poultry exports

The European Union last week formalized its decision to reinstate poultry exports from Brazil under a pre-listing system, easing a seven-year suspension and offering relief in what has been a challenging — yet still record-setting — year for the sector, having confronted the country’s first confirmed case of avian influenza in a commercial plant.
