On Saturday, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro posted a video to YouTube in which he read a letter from his father, the former president Jair Bolsonaro, reinforcing the message that he is the family's standard-bearer. Jair Bolsonaro has been in custody since November, serving a 27-year, three-month sentence for leading a plot to stay in power after losing the 2022 election.
