One in every 25 attendees (a total of more than 1,600) at COP30 in Belém arrived at the conference representing either an oil and gas company or business groups associated with the fossil fuel industry. The figures are from the latest report published by the Kick Big Polluters Out (KBPO) coalition, which affirms that COP30 has seen the highest proportional share of fossil fuel lobbyists since it began tracking said data.
