After setting tourism records in 2025, Brazil needs to take another leap

The Brazilian government celebrated the arrival of a record-shattering 9.3 million international tourists in 2025, a 37% jump from the previous year. This dwarfed the global average increase of 4% and placed the country among the world’s fastest-growing destinations, according to data from the UN Tourism World Barometer and Brazil’s tourism board, Embratur.
