Donald Trump said on Saturday that the US had captured Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela’s authoritarian leader, and was flying him out of the country, following large-scale attacks on Caracas. Even with Maduro removed, the prospects for a political transition in Venezuela remain deeply uncertain.
