Embraer closed Q2 2025 with a record order backlog of USD 29.7 billion, the largest in its history, driven by robust demand for its new-generation E2 jets and a surge of defense contracts with NATO countries. Investors have rewarded the turnaround, with the company’s shares rising more than 360% over the last two years.
Just five years ago, however, Embraer was reeling. Its long-awaited tie-up with Boeing collapsed at the height of the pandemic, wiping away the promise of deeper integration with the world’s second-largest aerospace company.
