Rafael Câmara's Haas deal puts two Brazilians on the Formula 1 grid for the first time since 2016

Haas has signed Rafael Câmara, a 21-year-old Ferrari protégé from Recife, to race in Formula 1 from 2027. The multi-year deal keeps him with the US-based team at least through the end of 2028. He takes the seat of Frenchman Esteban Ocon, who drove for Haas for two seasons, and will share the garage with British driver Oliver Bearman, a fellow member of Ferrari's young driver academy.
