Is B3’s main sustainability index a green mirage?

The E in ESG has perhaps never been so important in Brazil. While the federal government has made bold deforestation reduction promises and will host the UN’s COP30 climate change conference later this year, players in the private sector seek to demonstrate their environmental integrity, in the hope that will attract investment in the lower-carbon economy of the future.
