Trump and the US less popular in Brazil

A growing number of Brazilians are turning sour on both Donald Trump and the United States.
Driving the news. A new Quaest poll shows that 43% of Brazilians now view the US president negatively, while only 22% hold a favorable opinion. Another 23% rate him as “just OK.”
👉 Why it matters. The perception of the United States as a whole has also taken a hit. Just 44% of Brazilians now view the US favorably, down from 58% in 2024, when President Joe Biden was still in office. Negative views jumped from 24% to 41% in the same period.
