Companies opt for a workaround to get a São Paulo listing

This September, São Paulo’s stock exchange (B3) marked four years without a single initial public offering (IPO) from a new company joining its roughly 400 listed firms.

Sky-high interest rates, global economic turbulence and the looming 2026 elections have buried any remaining hope of reopening the IPO window this year. The outlook remains stable from when we reported on the IPO drought last December.

Yet, a few companies have found alternative routes to B3 this year…
