A health care time bomb?

With a month to go before COP30 kicks off in Belém, the city has endured headaches related to accommodation, sanitation, construction and just about everything else under the Amazonian sun. But another major concern has been brought to the fore this week, with the Federal Prosecution Office issuing a dire warning that Belém’s health network could “collapse” under the weight of the global climate conference.
